Chinese Valentines Day
Not just another day to celebrate love and affection, but a tradition that dates back to more than 2,000 years ago!
Celebrated annually on the 7th Day of the 7th lunar month , this day is also known as the Double Seventh Festival (七夕节).
Legend has it that there was a pair of lovers, a cow herd and a fairy, were separated by the Goddess of Heaven (fairy’s mother), as she did not want her daughter to be with a mere mortal. However, every year on the 7th Day of the 7th lunar month, they were permitted to meet, for just one day. This festival celebrates love and teaches us that true love is worth every sacrifice.
This year, remember the date and celebrate the festival with our beautiful flowers and gifts. Place your order before 14 August to save up to $20 off selected products on this page. Time to get shopping!
