FUNDING FOR FLORISTRY WSQ (NEW!)
Employers who send their employees for the Floristry WSQ training will receive course funding from the Skills Development Fund (SDF) and absentee payroll funding under the Skills Redevelopment Fund (SRP).

Floristry WSQ course training can be conducted by Approved Training Organisations (ATOs) or companies, with the latter offering in-house training programmes for their own employees. All Floristry WSQ courses accredited by WDA will qualify for both SDF and SRP funding.

The general eligibility criteria for SDF funding are

  • Companies are registered of incorporated in Singapore
  • Supportable cost components (such as Course fees) are sponsored by companies.
  • Trainees are employees who are either Singapore citizen or Permanent Residents (PR) of Singapore
  • Trainees have achieved at least 75% attendance and have sat for all examinations if the course leads to certification

The funding revision of SDF support for certifiable skills training from 1 April 2008 are summarized as follow:

The SRP rates for Floristry WSQ courses from 1 April 2008 are:

Companies that wish to check if a publicly conducted course is pre-approved under the SDF Easynet can visit the SDF website at: http://www.sdf.gov.sg. Companies must first register for an account with SDF EasyNet and SRPNET before they can apply for SDF and SRP funding.
