Far East Flora’s flowers and gifts department was established in 1978. In 2000, it incorporated the department to become FarEastFlora.com Pte Ltd, and has since been composing beautiful
floral arrangements showcased first in colourful catalogs and subsequently in our online store.

With far easier access to the customers, on Valentine's Day in 2001 we made four times as many people smile than in the whole of 1999. 

Being an INTERFLORA member affiliates us with over 160,000 exceptional florists worldwide and allows us to send flowers and gifts to practically anywhere in the world.

1965 Far East Flora Holdings Pte Ltd was founded by 3 brothers
1978 The first flowers and gifts department was formed
2000 The department launched its online flower store and FarEastFlora.com was incorporated
2001 Sales in 2001 on Valentines Day alone was 4 times that in 1999
Comprehensive Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems set up, enabling analysis of consumers’ online behaviour and data-mining.
2002 Conferred the 3rd Annual Intelligent20 Awards, recognizing it as one of the region's top 20 enterprises that use infocomm-related technologies to drive new levels of operational excellence, customer service, and innovation.
2004 Launch of CreativeWorkz®, FarEastFlora.com’s in-house floral design school, the first in the industry to launch an innovative scholarship scheme.
Integrated address management system set up, resulting in a reduction in the number of inaccuracies by six times, to fewer than five a month.
2005 Far East Flora.com Pte Ltd expands into mobile commerce and becomes one of the content providers in the new Starhub i-mode mobile Internet service
Launched World's first full-colour printing on fresh flowers— Flower Memo®
First batch of florist apprentice scholarship programme conducted by CreativeWorkz®
2006 Achieved the Singapore Service Class (S-Class), the certification for the business excellence niche standard for service
Tapped into the Hongkong market with the start-up of FarEastFlora.com.hk
Participated in Green Thumbs 2006, an inaugural Landscape Skills Contest, recognizing the efforts of the landscape industry and employers for their commitment and support towards skills upgrading of the workforce.
Minister of State for Trade and Industry, Lee Yi Shyan visits Far East Flora, and gives a stamp of approval for its success since receiving a grant from SPRING Singapore.
2008 CreativeWorkz® becomes a part of the Singapore Workforce Skills Qualifications (WSQ) initiative, in collaboration with the Workforce Development Agency (WDA) scheduled to be launched officially in September.
2009 Launched first retail outlet at City Square Mall in homeland Singapore.
2010 Ventured into Malaysia market with www.FarEastFlora.com.my and Floristika, a one-stop floriculture centre located in Bangsar, Kuala Lumpur.
2011 1st Singapore Florist to create a fully-integrated mobile app for iPhones and Nokia with over 1000 flowers and gifts choices.
2012 SG Florist rose to the ranks of the Top 30 Lifestyle Apps in iTunes stores in the month of January and February.
